Woven contract fabrics come to life through Anzea’s thoughtfully designed and curated collections of space defining upholstery textiles.
Since 1990, Anzea has been developing and designing woven contract fabrics for hospitality, healthcare, education and corporate markets. The initial collection consisted of six wool upholstery textiles imported from Europe. Now Anzea has over 125 woven upholsteries and over 100 coated textiles. Our connections and collaborations with over 30 premier mills and distributors throughout the United States and abroad have enriched and defined a contract fabric offering that is uniquely our own.
Our contract fabric partners reflect the Anzea core values. By selecting mills and suppliers that value and support their employees, we mirror our own commitment to the diversity and development of our employees. By seeking out mills that share our concern for the environment, we have been able to weave environmental compliance into the DNA of our contract textiles. Each upholstery is evaluated on the impact it has on the environment and health of the users. We have developed contract fabrics, both woven and coated, to comply with FACTS, HPD, HHI, Reach, Oeko-tex, MBDC Cradle to Cradle, California Proposition 65 and other environmental and social standards.
A woven textile speaks in a way that lends voice to the vision of the designer. We believe that specifying woven fabrics should be the most fun and exciting part of the creative process and enhance the satisfaction of developing a great space. Anzea takes the stress off the table by supplying contract fabrics and services that take care of the following:
All Anzea contract fabrics are performance driven. Each fiber brings different attributes to the woven textile. Wool, the quintessential contract textile is inherently flame-retardant, inherently easy to clean and breathable. Polyester lends high abrasion at a good price and polyolefins are particularly suited for outdoor use. Additional treatments are available to further enhance performance. Stain resistant finishes, anti-microbial finishes and moisture barriers are all possible with one purchase order. If you prefer “naked” fabrics for the smallest environmental footprint, that too is available.
Anzea contract fabrics are on trend. Our woven textiles reflect our influencers from the runway to the streetway, from
art to pop culture, from urbanization to nature both in design and color. Whether they are influenced by Mitzi Mills travel and photography, Jhane Barnes digital imaging or Ruth Adler Schnee’s old school cool, each pattern introduced is relevant to the marketplace.
Anzea upholsteries are developed with cohesive color direction. The Anzea palette has a long continuum, meaning you
will find coordinates in every category making it easy to move forward while still connecting to existing palettes.
We are personally accountable for delivering on our commitments to the designer, purchaser and end-user.
Lastly, we want our specifiers to love our contract fabrics as much as we do.
