PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride. The vinyls (PVC) included in the Anzea family of coated fabrics have eliminated harmful phthalates, heavy metals and formaldehyde that gave vinyl a bad rap in the past.
The advantages of vinyl (PVC) include their cost effectiveness and a variety of embossing options. They are predictable to upholster and have a low incidence of puddling. Like their more expensive cousins, PU and Silicone, they can be very stain resistant and cleanable with a variety of cleaning and disinfecting agents.
