Anzea Special Finishes
ANZEA textiles may be treated with Nanotex® (and Durablock®), Teflon® or other superior silicone treatments for superior stain and moisture resistance. FR acrylic backing for upholstery or wallcovering may be applied. Other FR treatments may be applied for aircraft, drapery, wallcovering or upholstery applications.
Please allow 5% for potential shrinkage in the finishing process. Anzea will ship approved textiles to an Anzea selected finisher for and at the risk of the customer. The customer will be billed for freight to and from the finisher as well as for the finishing charges.
Protective Finishes:
NANO-TEX® is a technology that repels and releases stains at the molecular level. Spill resistance keeps the stains from penetrating. Nano-Tex® is an environmentally friendly finish that does not contain anti-microbial treatment. This finish may be added to pre-approved textiles. Refer to the light blue blocks on the price list.
NANO-TEX® w/DURABLOCK® includes the Nano-Tex® finish with the antimony-free DURABLOCK® liquid barrier. No special cleaning agents are required. DURABLOCK® may be added to products that are approved for NANO-TEX®.
TEFLON® fabric protection provides a superior level of stain repellency keeping the fabrics looking new longer. Liquid spills bead up and ground in stains are more easily cleaned. Teflon® may be the better option for pile fabrics and chenilles.
CRYPTON® is applied at the mill level. Fabrics carrying the CRYPTON® logo are inventoried with this protective stain and moisture resistant finish and do not require additional treatment. These fabrics are breathable while providing a protective moisture barrier.
Custom Backing:
FR ACRYLIC BACKING enhances a fabric's stability and may reduce seam slippage. For direct glue applications it reduces or eliminates bleed through. This backing is designed to meet the ASTM E-84 for wallcovering.
Flame Resistance Treatments
All ANZEA textiles meet or exceed the California Upholstered Furniture Flammability code Bulletin 117. For other codes Anzea will ship the fabric to a finisher. The finisher will issue a certificate of compliance for the specific codes. ANZEA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FABRIC'S SATISFACTORY COMPLIANCE TO THE SPECIFIED CODE. The following information must be supplied when arranging for flame retarding.
