This month, Anzea has introduced four new product lines. Two of which are upholstery textile collections designed by Mitzi Mills and two are faux leathers.
“Eggs,” a new Anzea textile collection, has been finished with Crypton2®. This lends incredible durability and stain resistance, as well as being able to be cleaned with bleach. “Pegs” has been finished with Greenshield®, ensuring textile durability and better green practices. In keeping with Anzea’s philosophy, the “Eggs & Pegs” textile introduction has kept in mind color and texture trends as well as overall good design.
Of the faux leathers, Anzea has added another pattern to the “Too Close Too Call” product line. Anzea has also added a product called “Shiny Hide.” As all of the other “Too Close Too Call” designs, “Shiny Hide” has a nylon matrix backing making it puncture resistant, self-healing, and it comes with an ink removing cleaning agent. Just as the name implies, there is a luxurious shine on this product, blurring the lines between leather and faux leather even further.
Anzea’s other beautiful faux leather introduction is “Highland.” The “Highland” line is evidence that there is an increasing demand for polyurethanes and polyvinyl to look and feel like something that they are not. Highland has a wonderful hand, feeling and looking like woven linen. The colorways have stayed neutral and earthy in keeping with the naturalness of this faux leather.
Anzea was founded in 1990 by creative director Mitzi Mills and business partner Bruce Doeren. Since the company’s inception, Anzea has focused on contract upholstery textiles offering the marketplace the option of leading edge colors, bold designs and high performance. These designs are reflective of Mills graphic design background, love of photography and travel.
The Anzea contract textile collection is a spirited mix of materials from luxurious natural fibers to recycled polyester yarns. Bleach cleanable, solution dyed fabrics and vinyl upholstery form a cohesive high performance bond with the green faux leathers in nylon matrix and polyurethane. To complement Mills designs, Anzea expanded to include the Jhane Barnes collection adding a layer of sophisticated fashion. Barnes joined Ruth Adler Schnee as an inspiring voice in the Anzea design brand. Schnee’s mid-century designs for Anzea are in galleries and museums worldwide. Samoan to English . Schnee’s understanding of the whimsy in textile design has influenced the color palette and patterns developed by Anzea and the design team over the last 22 years. Design, marketing and warehouse facilities are located in the Fort Worth, Texas arts district. Visit Anzea at http://anzea2.insiteadvice.net or call at 1-877-862-6932.
